Why Vote For Me?

As a Libertarian I bring the ability to find common ground with each of the two major parties that take the lead. In this day in age the political chasm between Left and Right is widening and political rhetoric tends to be moving toward the extreme. The notion that the parties should be working together to better the nation on the local, state, and national level seems to be lost, and the desire to find a level of cooperation is at the forefront of many Americans' minds. As such this cooperation is often seen as needing to come from an outside moderator, one who is not engulfed in widening the gap, but building a bridge between it; this is the role libertarianism takes within the political structure.
As an individual, I bring many unique aspects to the Legislature; my youth and education being at the forefront. My youth gives me the idealistic hope and ambition for our dreams to one day be seen. While the youngest in the race for district 24 by decades, I have run many student organizations, worked as the Libertarian Party of Utah's Vice-Chairperson, Salt Lake County Chairperson, Greater Avenues Community Council, as well as working on various campaigns. I have been intimately involved in politics throughout my entire life.
My education is another unique aspect of my run for the legislature. I have studied various governments and communities, some on the rise and some long past. I have studied those programs which have failed, those that have found success, and I have analyzed the reasons for their respective failure or success. These studies have lent to my current political philosophy of producing a governing body that not only represents the will of the people, but an effective government within that representation.
